Supa-Trac HLZ Facts

Supa-Trac HLZ (HLZ stands for Helicopter Landing Zone) is a quick deploy helicopter pad that provides a stable surface and excellent FOD (Flying Object Debris) suppression. The Supa-Trac HLZ system is extremely fast to deploy and recover and requires no skills or special tools. This makes the system an excellent choice for forward are military operations or for any temporary operations. An untrained crew of six able people can install a 50' x 50' helicopter pad in less than an hour. The aeration slots in the Supa-Trac HLZ effectively equalize air pressure between the top and the bottom of the panels. This means that the surface is unlikely to lift under any degree or angle of rotor wash. (Despite this feature, each HLZ kit ships with stake points and stakes for those cases where lift is observed or additional security is desirable).
